Welcome to Waterford Music Lessons! We are located in Waterford, VA, 11 miles northwest of Leesburg, VA, and about an hour from Washington, DC.  Is your guitar sitting in the closet, maybe missing a string or two?  Are you puzzled by all those buttons your electric keyboard?  Do you have a digital multi-track you can't figure out?  No problem, call us to get that guitar strung, that keyboard understood, and all your gear sorted out for you!

We teach Guitar (acoustic and electric), Electric bass, Dobro, Pedal Steel,  Popular and Beginning Piano, and Digital Recording.  At WML, our goal is to infuse our students with our own passion for music-making.

Our students become well-rounded musicians with a sound grasp of musical fundamentals - sight-reading, rhythm appreciation, and ear-training. Students learn music theory that can be applied to any instrument they choose, whether guitar or piano, any musical style, or any jam they join.

Currently, we charge $30 for a 1/2 hour lesson in our Waterford studio, $45 for 45 minutes, $50 for an hour. Lessons in your home can be arranged as well with an additional travel fee of $15.  If you are looking to buy a guitar or keyboard, we can make some suggestions for you.  Just email us with your questions.

It is not hard to make great music, but it does take commitment, patience, and a start. Having a passionate teacher who is committed to a student's joy and progress will make all the difference.
